Steps
Pull the current NEC edition and any local amendments adopted by the specific AHJ to confirm exactly which labels and placards are required (labeling requirements have shifted across NEC cycles)
Install all required placards and labels per that edition: rapid-shutdown placard at the service disconnect, DC/AC disconnect labeling, source-of-power labeling near the main service panel, conduit/raceway labeling where circuits from multiple sources are present, and any interconnection point labeling
Verify labels use durable, weather-resistant materials and correct wording/format as specified in the code (not just approximate wording)
Walk the system against a jurisdiction-specific inspection checklist (or the SolarAPP+ generated checklist if applicable) before the scheduled inspection to catch missing items
