  1. Confirm the report identifies the specific drop height(s) tested and whether it was a lab certification or field test.
  2. Check the reported G-max (peak deceleration) value against the ASTM F1292 pass threshold in effect for that test.
  3. Check the reported HIC (Head Injury Criterion) value against the ASTM F1292 pass threshold in effect for that test.
  4. Confirm the critical fall height stated on the report matches or exceeds the actual maximum fall height of nearby equipment.
  5. Retain the dated test report as documentation, and re-test if surfacing has been topped off, replaced, or subjected to significant compaction/contamination since the last test.
