Steps

  2. Perform pull-off (tensile) bond-strength testing per ASTM E736 at the required sampling locations and frequency.
  3. Record the failure mode (adhesive vs. cohesive) along with the measured force, since failure type indicates whether the issue is substrate preparation, primer, or the SFRM material itself.
  4. Compare results against the minimum required bond strength and flag any locations below threshold for corrective rework (cleaning, re-priming, reapplication).
