Steps Enable Actions under Settings > Advanced Tools in Spectora Advanced Create a new Advanced Automation, name it, and assign it to a Category such as 'Upsells' Configure 'When this happens' to the inspection-scheduled or service-added event Add an 'Only send if' condition filtering by the service selected (or by Contact Tag) so the automation only fires for matching bookings Configure 'Do this' with the email or text content, selecting Transactional or Marketing as the email type Save and activate, then check the inspection's 'View All Inspection Actions' panel later to confirm it triggered as expected
Known gotchas Conditions are evaluated per inspection at trigger time, not retroactively, so a mid-booking service change may not re-trigger the automation You cannot switch an inspection from base Automations to Advanced Automations after it has already been scheduled Skipped runs (condition not met) show gray and failed sends show red in the inspection's Actions view — use 'View Triggers' to see why
