Steps
In Spectora's Actions settings, create a new Advanced Automation (formerly Company Action) on the client-contact-created trigger event.
Add rule conditions to scope the action, such as limiting it to first-time clients.
Set the action type to Webhook instead of email or text message.
Enter the destination URL and choose which payload source to send (e.g., the Inspection payload for property/address data).
Save the action, schedule a test inspection, and confirm the destination receives a JSON POST.
Known gotchas
Webhook payloads POST as plain JSON with no documented signing/verification scheme, so the receiving endpoint must validate the data itself.
The chosen payload source (e.g., Inspection vs. Contact) determines which fields are present; picking the wrong one means fields like property address may simply be missing.
