Steps
Configure Genea's Touchless Visitor Management feature (available standalone or via the Envoy integration) for the target location
Create a guest pre-registration with visitor name, host, and visit details ahead of the visit
Send the guest an invite (email/QR code) so they can complete any required pre-visit questionnaire before arrival
Have the visitor check in on-site by scanning the QR code, which logs the visit and can trigger temporary access provisioning
Review completed visits and check-in records in the Genea (or connected Envoy) admin interface
Known gotchas
A distinct, separately documented REST 'visitors' API endpoint could not be confirmed in the public Access Control API reference this session — visitor management is documented at the product/workflow level, so verify current endpoint availability directly with Genea before assuming raw API access
Visitor management is often delivered through the Envoy integration rather than a Genea-native UI, which changes where configuration actually lives
Pre-visit questionnaires (e.g. health screening) are optional and must be explicitly enabled, or guests will skip straight to check-in
