Steps
Obtain a Global API Key from a Genea Global Admin in the Genea Portal
Authenticate requests using Bearer auth with the API key
Call the Create User endpoint with the target customer_uuid/location_uuid
Call the access-group assignment endpoint to add the new user to an Access Group
Confirm via the paginated List Users endpoint (page/page_size) that the user and group assignment were applied
Known gotchas
Global API Keys replaced the older User API Token model; the Me API and List My Locations API are not supported under Global API Keys — use Get API Key Detail instead
Create User is rate-limited to 50 requests/minute — bulk onboarding scripts need throttling or batching
