Steps
Register an application with Hospitable and choose OAuth 2.0 authorization or a personal access token for server-to-server use
Call the properties endpoint to enumerate connected listings and their channel connections (Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com)
Read/write calendar and pricing data through the calendar endpoints, which propagate to all connected channels via Hospitable's channel manager
Subscribe to webhooks for reservation created/updated/cancelled events instead of polling
Use the reservation-status reference to map Hospitable's status values to the host application's own booking lifecycle states
Known gotchas
This is the v2 Public API; older integrations built against pre-v2 endpoints are not guaranteed compatible and should be re-verified against current docs
Calendar/pricing writes go through Hospitable's channel manager, so propagation to each OTA (Airbnb, Vrbo, etc.) is asynchronous and subject to each channel's own sync delay, not instantaneous
Personal access tokens are tied to a single Hospitable user account, which is appropriate for single-property/testing use but not a substitute for OAuth in a multi-tenant SaaS integration
