Send a POST request to the Developer Connect webhook subscription endpoint, supplying the event types you want to receive (e.g., loan status changes) and your HTTPS callback URL.
Respond to incoming webhook deliveries with an HTTP 200 within the required acknowledgement window; implement idempotent processing using the event ID in each payload.
Renew or rotate your client credentials before expiry and update the subscription if your callback URL changes.
Known gotchas
The SDK-to-API migration sunset deadline was extended to December 31 2026 — applications still on the legacy SDK have until that date to migrate; do not treat the migration as already completed.
Webhook payloads are signed; validate the signature header on every inbound request before processing the payload to prevent spoofed events.
Test subscriptions in the sandbox environment first; production loan data is sensitive and misconfigured callbacks can cause compliance issues.
