Steps

  1. Register in the Developer Connect portal and generate an API key/client credentials for your ISV or lender integration
  2. Obtain an OAuth2 access token from the Encompass token endpoint using the client credentials grant
  3. Call the Loans API to retrieve a loan by GUID and inspect the fields you need
  4. Use the Documents API to upload, download, or reassign documents attached to the loan
  5. If migrating from the legacy Encompass SDK, follow the SDK-to-API migration guide to map old FieldID calls to V3 resource fields
