  1. Register for a CN eBusiness account (via ecprod.cn.ca registration), a prerequisite for API access.
  2. Request API product enablement through the "Request a New API" workflow on cn.ca/en/customer-centre/tools/api.
  3. Call GEOGPS Location Tracking to get the last GPS position of a shipment on the rail network or via CN's CNTL trucking service.
  4. Call GEO Shipment Status to get the last reported event, which CN positions as complementary to or a replacement for EDI 214/322/CLM event feeds.
