Known gotchas
SiteMinder Exchange messaging is SOAP/XML based, not REST; the OTA message schema must conform to the SiteMinder-defined dialect which has some extensions beyond the base OTA spec
PMS integrations require a formal certification process with SiteMinder; skipping certification and going directly to production can result in suspended access
Rate updates sent from the PMS side must include explicit date range boundaries; open-ended date ranges are not supported and will be rejected
