Steps

  1. Confirm the test kit is calibrated and the gauge needle is properly zeroed before connecting
  2. Close the appropriate shutoff valve and open test cocks in the correct sequence to check the second check valve's minimum differential
  3. Repeat the sequence for the first check valve per the assembly manufacturer's or USC test procedure
  4. Confirm both check valves hold at least the minimum required pressure differential specified for that assembly's listing
  5. Record results and submit the report before the purveyor's deadline
  6. Bleed all test hoses and fully close test cocks after completing the test so the assembly isn't left in a partially open state
