Confirm each operator has completed general ANSI A92.2 training covering manual purpose and use, safety features, operating systems, stability factors, and fall protection.
Complete equipment-specific familiarization training on the actual make and model of aerial device being used for the sign install, since general training alone doesn't qualify an operator on unfamiliar equipment.
Confirm basic OSHA aerial-lift requirements are also met (proper fall protection, no standing on guardrails, etc.) alongside the ANSI training, since OSHA treats A92.2 as the industry practice standard for adequate operator training.
