Steps
As an Encircle admin, go to Settings > External Assignments and copy your unique 'Magic Email' address.
In XactAnalysis, open the Administration dropdown, select Contact Methods, click Add, choose Email, and paste in the Encircle Magic Email address, then Save.
Still in XactAnalysis Administration, select Notification Rules, click Add New Notification, and set the rule to trigger on Assignment / All loss types / all days, matching your timezone and language.
Under the notification rule's Contact Method, set Type to Email and Method to your Encircle Magic Email address, then save the rule.
Optionally send a test notification from XactAnalysis Notification Rules to confirm assignments arrive in Encircle before going live.
Known gotchas
This route routes carrier/TPA claim assignments (an insurance-claims workflow) into Encircle by email forwarding, not a REST API call — misconfigured Notification Rules (e.g., missing loss types or days) will silently drop assignments.
Field staff need Standard permissions or higher in Encircle to convert an incoming assignment into a claim.
If assignments stop appearing, Encircle's own troubleshooting guidance recommends checking the Notification Rule configuration in XactAnalysis before contacting support.
