Steps
Confirm the spec requires WI CCP (common on CA school and public-agency work) rather than AWI QCP.
Submit a CCP Request and Authorization to Inspect form to Woodwork Institute before fabrication begins.
Schedule shop drawing review and shop/installation inspections per the program's manual.
Apply the individually serial-numbered, watermarked CCP shop drawing label and, after delivery, the CCP compliance label to each casework elevation.
Obtain final Certified Compliance Certificates covering both the products supplied and the completed installation.
Known gotchas
CCP requires separate certificates for products supplied and for installation — completing one does not satisfy the other.
WI's program is built on the jointly-published North American Architectural Woodwork Standards (with AWMAC), a different standards lineage than AWI's independently developed ANSI standards.
