Steps
In TutorCruncher, go to System > Settings > Integrations > Online Integrations, select Pencil Spaces, and click 'Add integration' (this auto-provisions a Pencil Spaces account if one doesn't exist for that email)
Use the same email for the TutorCruncher account as for any existing Pencil Spaces account to avoid a duplicate account being created
For SSO-only login, tutors/students can click the 'Pencil Spaces' link in TutorCruncher to be auto-logged-in at my.pencilapp.com/spaces
To auto-create a unique Space per lesson instead, in TutorCruncher go to System > Settings > People and Activities > Activity, set 'Pencil Spaces' as the Default Online Integration, and save
Create a new online-appointment Lesson (no physical location selected) in TutorCruncher and open 'More details' > 'Pencil Spaces' to confirm a dedicated Space launches for that job
Known gotchas
By default Pencil Spaces reuses one Space per Job across all its lessons, not one Space per individual lesson occurrence — getting a fresh Space per lesson requires contacting Pencil Spaces support to enable that mode
For institution (multi-tutor) TutorCruncher accounts, only a Pencil Spaces Institution Admin can complete the integration setup — a regular tutor account can't self-configure it
If a TutorCruncher-Pencil Spaces integration was already configured previously for the account, re-linking requires contacting Pencil Spaces support rather than repeating the self-serve flow
