  2. Get the volumeInstanceId (per-environment volume instance id).
  3. Run: `mutation volumeInstanceBackupCreate($volumeInstanceId: String!){ volumeInstanceBackupCreate(volumeInstanceId: $volumeInstanceId) }` with variables {"volumeInstanceId":"<id>"}.
  4. Poll list backups to confirm the new backup appears.
