Steps
Open the claim from the Overview tab in the Encircle web app.
Note that Encircle's own guidance advises against using Share Claim directly with a client or adjuster, since anyone added via Share Claim becomes a full collaborator with editing access, not a read-only viewer.
To send an adjuster documentation instead, generate a built-in Report (photos, floor plans, dry logs, etc.) from the claim and share that report link.
If you need the adjuster (or another external party) to submit photos/videos/documents without granting claim access, use the Use Link feature rather than Share Claim.
Reserve Share Claim for team members, sub-trades, or third-party estimators who are actual Encircle users and are meant to edit the claim.
Known gotchas
Share Claim grants full editing capabilities to the recipient — Encircle has no restricted/view-only permission level for a shared claim.
Anyone added via Share Claim must be (or become) an Encircle user with an account; it is not a lightweight emailed view link.
Encircle explicitly recommends against sharing claims directly with adjusters or policyholders — use Reports (to send documentation) or Use Link (to collect documentation) instead.
