Steps Authenticate via OAuth2 and confirm the target organization has granted the appropriate work-plan write scope. Build a work plan payload tied to a specific field, referencing the field's boundary and the desired operation (e.g., planting or application). Submit the work plan to the Work Plans resource for wireless delivery to the operator's Generation 4 display (4200/4240/4600/4640-class displays). Confirm the delivery/acceptance status of the work plan for the target machine or organization. Update or reissue the work plan if recommendations change before the operator starts the field.
Known gotchas Work plan delivery is limited to Generation 4 display hardware, not all Deere display generations. The plan must be scoped to a field the calling application has been granted access to; unscoped or unauthorized fields are rejected.
