Steps

  1. Authenticate via OAuth2 with equipment write access for the target organization.
  2. Identify the target equipment (machine) resource ID to attach measurements to.
  3. POST the measurement payload (e.g., a sensor reading or custom metric) to the Equipment Measurements resource for that machine.
  4. Confirm the measurement was accepted and appears when the equipment record is subsequently read back.
  5. Repeat on an appropriate interval for streaming or periodic sensor data, respecting rate limits.
