Steps
Authenticate requests with a bearer API key
Search for prospects using filters such as job titles, seniorities, and locations
Call the People Enrichment endpoint with identifying details (name, email, domain, or LinkedIn URL) to enrich a single matched person
Request personal email or phone reveal explicitly, supplying a webhook URL when phone reveal is requested since it is delivered asynchronously
For multiple people at once, use the bulk enrichment endpoint instead of enriching one at a time
Known gotchas
The people-search endpoint does not return email addresses or phone numbers directly — a separate enrichment call is required to get contact info
Enrichment consumes Apollo credits when contact data is actually returned
Phone-number reveal requires a webhook URL and is delivered asynchronously rather than in the immediate API response, and personal-email reveal can be restricted for people in certain regions
