Steps
Work with the Checkmate partnerships team to establish a two-way API integration and obtain your API credentials and Postman collection
Configure the menu in your POS system; Checkmate pulls the menu from the POS and syncs it to connected third-party platforms (DoorDash, Uber Eats, Grubhub, and others)
Implement the order injection endpoint on your POS side that Checkmate will POST incoming third-party orders to in a normalized JSON format
Map the Checkmate order schema fields (items, modifiers, customer info, delivery address) to your POS order model
Respond to each injected order with an acknowledgment payload including estimated prep time so Checkmate can relay it to the originating platform
Monitor Checkmate's dashboard for order errors, item mapping failures, and injection rejections; resolve unmapped items by updating POS menu mappings
