Steps

  1. Onboard as a Things to Do partner (this is a gated partner integration — Google shares your SFTP endpoint/SSH credentials and Action Center access once integration work begins, per their published Overview page).
  2. Build your catalog as JSON per the Product feed spec (Required and recommended fields, Location/point-of-interest, and Deep link/URL template guides) for the module(s) you're targeting (Ads, attractions booking, operator booking, experiences).
  3. Upload the feed via SFTP using SSH authentication; if your catalog is large, split it across multiple JSON files sharing consistent metadata — Google treats them as one combined feed upload.
  4. Always upload your complete current catalog on every run: Google does not support incremental/delta updates, each upload fully replaces the previously uploaded data.
  5. Set an upload cadence based on how often your content changes (Google recommends roughly daily) but never exceed 30 days between uploads, or Google will automatically take all your production products down.
  6. After each upload, check the Action Center for transfer status and per-product validation errors/warnings, fix flagged products before the next cycle, and ensure content complies with Google's Things to Do content, price, official-site, and prohibited-practices policies.
