Documented steps Print total disk usage of a bucket: mc du myaistor/mybucket. Print usage for a folder prefix: mc du myaistor/mybucket/photos. Show per-folder totals below the path: mc du --depth N myaistor/mybucket. Recursively print a total for each child folder/bucket: mc du --recursive ALIAS/PATH. Measure usage of all object versions (requires bucket versioning): mc du --versions myaistor/mybucket. Measure usage as of a point in time (requires versioning): mc du --rewind 30d myaistor/mybucket. Known gotchas Output looks like '825KiB 3 objects mybucket'. --depth defaults to 0 (only the specified path); raise it to see nested folder totals. Large buckets take time to walk — mc du is not instant on big namespaces. --rewind/--versions require an S3-compatible service that supports bucket versioning.
