Steps

  1. Go to Settings > BackOffice Default > Payroll & Overtime Default Settings to set the Default Overtime Rule and Overtime Start Day of Week
  2. Go to Settings > Holiday Groups > New Holiday Group and select which observed holidays apply to your company/region
  3. Set a Default Holiday Group at the region level (Settings > BackOffice Default > Schedule Default Settings)
  4. Optionally create Pay/Bill Premiums (Settings > Premiums) to incentivize guards to cover holiday or hard-to-fill shifts, marking whether they count toward overtime
  5. Confirm the correct premium and holiday rate type are applied at the position level before publishing holiday shifts
