Steps
Generate a Skydio Cloud API token from the Skydio Cloud web console under integration settings
Authenticate REST requests using the token against the JSON-based HTTP API
Use Fleet Manager endpoints to enumerate vehicles and pull automatically uploaded flight telemetry and media from the Enterprise App/Enterprise Controller
Subscribe to or poll for live video/telemetry streaming data for real-time third-party dashboard integration
Reference the official sample Python client, which handles authentication and URL-encoding conventions, before writing custom request logic
Known gotchas
Telemetry/media only auto-upload when flights run through the Skydio Enterprise App or Enterprise Controller — flights outside that path won't appear in Cloud automatically
API tokens are generated per integration and scoped accordingly; using an overly broad token for a narrow integration is a common avoidable security misstep
Live streaming and teleoperation (Remote Ops) features depend on Skydio's autonomy/obstacle-avoidance stack and are not simply generic RTMP endpoints like some other vendors expose
