Steps
Produce as-built CAD/drawing set showing final pathway routes, drop locations, and telecom room/rack layouts as actually installed, not just as originally designed.
Compile a cable/patch-panel schedule listing every run by unique cable ID (per the TIA-606 administration scheme), origin, destination, patch-panel port, and length.
Include the full certification test report set (copper and/or fiber, per the applicable TIA-568 test standard) covering every installed link, not a sample subset.
Provide rack elevations and a labeled photo record of each telecom room/rack/cabinet in its final built state.
Submit manufacturer warranty registration documentation (if a system warranty applies) and firestop penetration records for any fire-rated assemblies penetrated during installation.
Known gotchas
"As-built" only counts if it reflects field changes — submitting the original design drawings unmarked-up is a common deliverable failure that owners reject at closeout.
Missing even a few percent of the certification test reports (e.g., excluding relocated or late-added drops) can hold up final payment — reconcile the test-report count against the actual installed cable count before submitting.
