Complete the 6-hour Green Industries Best Management Practices (GI-BMP) training through UF/IFAS Extension, required statewide since a 2009 law (SB 494) for all commercial for-hire fertilizer applicators.
Obtain the certificate of completion from UF/IFAS and Florida DEP.
Apply for the FDACS Limited Urban Fertilizer (LUF) applicator license using the GI-BMP certificate.
