Steps
Use the EPD Ready Mix USA Materials Lookup tool on nrmca.org (association-resources/sustainability/environmental-product-declarations/epd-ready-mix-usa-materials-lookup) to search by producer/plant.
For an industry-average baseline instead of a producer-specific EPD, reference NRMCA's published Industry-Wide EPD document (versioned, e.g. v3.2 dated 2026-03-31).
Cross-check regional LCA benchmark PDFs if the goal is comparing a specific mix against regional averages rather than a national baseline.
If the producer isn't in NRMCA's program, check whether they publish independently through their own sustainability page rather than assuming NRMCA covers all ready-mix EPDs nationally.
Note NRMCA acts as an EPD Program Operator (facilitating development, verification, and publishing) rather than as the sole national EPD database.
Known gotchas
The lookup tool returns individual, producer-published EPDs; the Industry-Wide EPD is a separate, generic industry-average document — don't cite one when the project requires the other.
Coverage is limited to NRMCA program participants; absence from the lookup doesn't mean no EPD exists elsewhere for that producer.
