Onboard to a French Plateforme Agréée (PA) for B2B e-invoicing

Verified steps

1. Confirm your company's phase: large enterprises and ETI (250–5,000 employees) must be able to issue and receive e-invoices from 1 September 2026; SMEs and micro-enterprises follow on 1 September 2027 — all companies must be able to receive from September 2026 regardless of size.
2. Select a Plateforme Agréée (PA) from the DGFiP-certified list; the PA replaces the former PDP designation in all current regulation and is the only channel permitted for B2B e-invoice exchange and e-reporting to the French tax authority.
3. Register your SIRET and VAT number with the chosen PA and complete the PA's onboarding KYC process; the PA will register your endpoint in the central directory (Annuaire) so counterparties can route invoices to you.
4. Configure your ERP or billing system to produce invoices in one of the accepted formats — Factur-X (hybrid PDF/XML), UBL 2.1, or CII — and integrate with the PA's submission API using the credentials issued at onboarding.
5. Participate in the DGFiP voluntary pilot phase, which runs until 31 August 2026, to process real invoices before the mandate date; submit at least a sample of invoices to verify end-to-end flow and UBL/CII rendering.
6. Enable e-reporting for transaction data covering B2C and cross-border sales, which must also flow through your PA to the DGFiP even when those invoices are not in structured e-invoice format.
