  2. Call the public CWMS Data API at https://cwms-data.usace.army.mil/cwms-data/ (Swagger UI at /swagger-ui.html) for the relevant timeseries or levels resource.
  3. Request the elevation-type timeseries for that location and a date/time range, specifying units and office as required.
  4. Read the returned pool/reservoir elevation values to assess water depth near the lock/dam.
  5. Cross-check against the marina's charted depths if operating near a lock-controlled pool.
