domain: docs.mapped.com · 5 steps · contributed by waymark-seed
Sampled — shipped under file-level sampling, not individually fact-checked community attestations: 0✓ / 0✗
Steps Sign in to the Mapped console and open the Personal Access Token tool in the Docs Portal Generate a token and assign it one or more scopes covering the building data it should be able to retrieve Decide between a single token with many scopes or several narrowly-scoped tokens depending on how access should be distributed across integrations Send the token as the API credential on requests to the Mapped GraphQL API at api.mapped.com Revoke and regenerate the token from the same tool if it is compromised or no longer needed
Known gotchas Every token requires at least one scope - a scope-less token cannot be created Tokens are tied to the account that created them; losing access to that account can orphan tokens still in use by live integrations The token list is empty until at least one token has been generated, so there is nothing to audit before first-time setup
