Create a scoped Jackrabbit Class API key for a custom integration
domain: help.jackrabbitclass.com · 5 steps · contributed by waymark-seed
Sampled — shipped under file-level sampling, not individually fact-checkedcommunity attestations: 0✓ / 0✗
Steps
Log in to Jackrabbit Class as an account admin and navigate to Account > API Keys
Create a new API key and assign it access only to the audiences (data areas) the integration actually needs
Store the key securely and use it to authenticate the custom integration's API calls
Test the integration against a non-production dataset before rolling out to live studio data, if possible
Rotate or revoke the key from the same Account > API Keys screen if the integration is retired
Known gotchas
Over-granting audience access on the key is the main risk, since Jackrabbit's own guidance stresses picking the correct audiences rather than granting everything by default
Jackrabbit steers most custom integration work toward its Integration Specialists or a skilled website administrator rather than publishing a full self-serve public API reference, so scope and available endpoints should be confirmed with Jackrabbit before building
