Steps

  1. Complete OAuth 1.0a authentication and obtain the target Album's Uri/key
  2. POST the raw image bytes as the request body to SmugMug's dedicated upload host, signed with OAuth 1.0a
  3. Include the album-identifying header/param so SmugMug knows which album receives the image
  4. Parse the response for the new Image's key and confirm it appears in the album's AlbumImages relationship
  5. Handle non-2xx responses per SmugMug's documented error format
