Confirm you're using a supported Spin Touch model (3580, 3581, or 3582) and Skimmer mobile app v12.6.1 or later with Bluetooth permissions enabled
In Skimmer web, an admin activates the integration under Settings > Readings & Dosages, mapping each Spin Touch reading to a Skimmer reading field
In the field, tap into a route stop or work order, tap Connect Spin Touch on the readings card, and choose the paired device from the nearby-devices list
Results transfer automatically into the readings card; imported values are badged with a device icon in the service history (removed if a tech edits the value)
Paythepoolman Plus customers instead enable the built-in LaMotte SpinTouch integration in-app to import readings directly, per Paythepoolman's own feature page
Known gotchas
The Skimmer integration is gated to the Scaling Up and Skimmer for Enterprise subscription tiers, not available on every plan
If a sync is missed, you must manually pull the reading from the Spin Touch's own Test History screen and use Send Results rather than relying on retroactive auto-import
Only models 3580/3581/3582 are confirmed supported by the Skimmer integration; other Spin Touch variants (FX/BC/nSp) are not confirmed compatible with this pairing flow
