Known gotchas
Catering+ is a separate Olo module from standard Ordering — it requires explicit activation and may involve additional commercial terms; do not assume it is available by default on an existing Olo contract
Authorization and capture timing for advance orders must be configured carefully: authorizing too far in advance risks card declines by the time of capture; capturing too early may cause issues if the order is modified or cancelled
Catering menus and standard menus are managed separately in Olo; changes made to your standard menu do not automatically propagate to your catering menu — maintain both in sync manually or via API
