3. If using a warning line system, position it no less than 6 feet from the roof edge (no mechanical equipment in use) or per the extended distances (6 ft parallel / 10 ft perpendicular to travel direction) when mechanical equipment is being used near the edge
4. For roofs 50 feet or less in width, confirm eligibility to use a safety monitoring system alone without a warning line, per the narrow-roof exception
5. Ensure all selected fall protection systems independently meet the detailed criteria in 29 CFR 1926.502 (e.g., guardrail height/strength, PFAS anchorage rating), since 501(b)(10) references 502 for system specifications
