Steps
Enable the Sign-In Kiosk (or QR Sign-In/Out Kiosk) feature from Procare Online settings
Confirm each parent has a system-assigned 4-digit PIN, visible in the mobile app or web profile
Enable QR code scanning as an alternative to PIN entry if a scanner/tablet camera is available
For staff, enable clock in/out via the same 4-digit PIN or QR flow for time-and-attendance tracking
Verify that check-in events feed the attendance records used downstream by billing and CACFP meal-count features
Known gotchas
Parent PINs are system-generated per family and are not user-chosen, so lost/forgotten PIN support flows route through re-displaying the PIN in the app rather than a reset
Staff clock in/out and parent child sign-in/out are separate features with separate settings toggles; enabling one does not enable the other
