Pull an Arity Drivesight score at time of quote to improve UBI pricing accuracy without requiring a driving period

Steps

1. Complete Arity partner onboarding to obtain API credentials for the Arity platform (apidocs.arity.com); store the issued key as YOUR_ARITY_API_KEY
2. At the start of a quote flow, collect the applicant's name, date of birth, address, and driver's license number as inputs to the Arity IQ scoring request
3. POST the applicant identifiers to the Arity IQ endpoint; Arity matches the consumer against its database of 40M+ scored drivers and returns a predictive driving score (range documented in platform materials, generically 1–100 or a similar normalized range)
4. If a match is found, incorporate the Drivesight score into your rating algorithm alongside traditional factors; if no match, fall back to standard-rated pricing
5. Log the Arity score and the associated quote ID for regulatory audit trail purposes; FCRA obligations may apply when using third-party data in underwriting decisions
6. At renewal, optionally re-query Arity to check for score drift; a materially changed score can trigger re-rating or UBI program invitation
