Sampled — shipped under file-level sampling, not individually fact-checkedcommunity attestations: 0✓ / 0✗
Steps
Authenticate with a v4 API bearer token
Query the availabilities endpoint for the target product/item group and desired date range
For bulk items, request availability using the item group ID plus a desired quantity
For trackable items, choose between checking by item group with quantity or by specific item IDs
Parse the response for available stock counts before creating an order
Known gotchas
Bulk items and trackable items use different availability request shapes (item group+quantity vs. specific item IDs); treating them interchangeably returns incorrect results
Availability can change between the check and order creation if another booking is placed concurrently, so re-validate immediately before confirming
