Documented steps

  1. POST https://api.browserbase.com/v1/sessions/{id}/uploads with header X-BB-API-Key: <api key>.
  2. Send the file as multipart/form-data with a form field named file.
  3. The 200 response returns {\"message\": ...} confirming the upload.
  4. Then drive the file input in the browser (e.g. Playwright set_input_files) to use the uploaded file.
