Steps
Review the field types/restrictions on the target work order or lead form in Orderry (Settings) before mapping website form fields to it.
Match each website field's data type (e.g. numeric-only 'House number') to Orderry's configured field type to avoid submission errors.
Submit the mapped data via the documented API method for creating leads or work orders.
Handle and surface API validation errors back to the website form rather than silently dropping failed submissions.
Confirm the created record lands in the expected pipeline/status for staff to action.
Known gotchas
A type mismatch (e.g. a customer entering a letter in a numeric-only field) causes work order/lead creation to fail rather than partially succeed — validate client-side too.
Products/stock are not automatically written off when a sale originates from a website — inventory sync for e-commerce-originated orders needs separate handling.
