Known gotchas
Stripe's Agentic Commerce Suite handles protocol translation across ACP, UCP, MPP, and x402, but each agent platform has its own eligibility and approval process; Stripe enrollment does not automatically enroll you with ChatGPT or other platforms.
SPTs are single-use by default; recurring agent purchases require explicit configuration of multi-use tokens with expiry and spend cap settings.
Stripe Radar's agent-aware signals are most effective when combined with 3D Secure (3DS) step-up for high-value transactions; fully autonomous agent flows that bypass 3DS may face higher decline rates from some issuers.
