Steps

  1. Obtain a Regrid API key from the Regrid developer portal and review the parcel query documentation.
  2. Query parcels by address or by latitude/longitude using the Regrid parcel lookup endpoint, passing the address string or coordinates as parameters.
  3. Parse the response for standardized fields including parcel number (APN), owner name, mailing address, land use code, acreage, assessed value, and year built.
  4. Use the parcel geometry (GeoJSON polygon) returned in the response to display parcel boundaries on a map.
  5. For bulk lookups, use the Regrid batch or tile-based endpoints to retrieve parcels within a bounding box rather than making individual requests per address.
