Steps

  1. Pull the pump and drop pipe, then clean out the well before treatment
  2. Set an inflatable packer well below the casing/grout seal, respecting the state's minimum seating depth below the casing shoe and ground surface
  3. Inject high-pressure water (commonly up to about 3,000 psi) in stages to open and extend water-bearing fractures
  4. Monitor injected versus returned water volume during treatment
  5. Retest yield and redisinfect the well before reinstalling the pump
