Steps
Confirm the account is on the Premium API tier, since webhooks are not available on Basic
Go to Settings > Integrations > SmartMoving API > Webhooks > Add New Webhook and enter your callback URL
Choose the events to subscribe to, covering leads, jobs, payments, documents, and customers
Open the Call History drawer at Settings > External API > Webhooks to review the last 7 days of deliveries, filter by Success or Failed, and inspect payload/error detail per call
Pair webhook events with periodic Basic/Premium API reads to feed dashboards in tools like Tableau or Power BI
Known gotchas
Webhook call history is limited to a 7-day rolling window in the UI - archive delivery logs on your own side if you need longer-term audit history
Webhooks require Premium; simply enabling the API at the Basic tier will not expose the Webhooks configuration menu at all
SmartMoving emails company owners and active webhook users at 90% and 100% of monthly quota usage - build monitoring for these thresholds so webhook-driven automations don't silently stop firing mid-month
