Prepare the detailed résumé required under (c)(11)(ii), documenting relevant work experience obtained in any US city or jurisdiction; where that experience was gained while employed by another registered design professional who signed and sealed the work, obtain a letter from that professional confirming the length of employment and the applicant's responsibilities.
4. Be prepared to demonstrate, under (c)(11)(iii), to the DOB Commissioner's satisfaction — including performance on any written or oral tests the commissioner may require — that the applicant is sufficiently familiar with the Construction Codes, laws, and rules pertaining to parking structures and engineering concepts specific to parking structures.
5. Submit the application package to DOB's Office of Technical Certification and Research and confirm inclusion on DOB's published active QPSI list before accepting inspection assignments.
6. Maintain the insurance coverage required of approved agencies under 1 RCNY 101-07(b)(7), since approval can be suspended or revoked for noncompliance.
