Steps
Go to https://www.wettinc.ca/search.cfm.
Search using any combination of service type (inspection, sweeping, installation), city/town, province, company name, or the WETT member's last name.
If the individual isn't listed, call WETT Inc.'s national office at 1-888-358-9388 to verify certification directly, since not all members opt into the public listing.
Confirm the inspector's WETT photo ID card carries a current-year sticker before relying on the credential for insurance or real-estate purposes.
Known gotchas
WETT certifies individuals, not companies — a company advertising 'WETT-certified staff' doesn't guarantee the technician sent to a specific job is the certified one; ask for and verify that specific person's name.
Absence from the online directory does not mean someone isn't certified — many members choose not to be listed, so the phone verification is the authoritative fallback, not just the web search.
