Steps

  1. Collect the standard mobile GPS payload (coords, speed, heading, battery, timestamp, device uuid) from the driver's device.
  2. POST the payload as JSON to the location's gps_events endpoint with a bearer token and x-tenant-id header.
  3. Confirm the response echoes back latitude, longitude, bearing, and velocity for the logged event.
  4. Repeat on your app's location-update interval to build a breadcrumb trail for that driver/truck.
